Fiona Bruce MP, on receiving updates on the RRTs activities in Congleton said:
“Good to hear again of all the continuing good work of the Rapid Relief Teams in my constituency and beyond; Thank you to all who volunteer with RRT and all other community organisations in my constituency, not just at Christmas but all year round. May you stay safe and well in 2021 "
The principal purpose of RRT is “the relief of such poverty, sickness, suffering, distress, misfortune, disability, destitution or helplessness as arouses pity or compassion in the community” and the teams have and continue to provide invaluable support during the on-going pandemic.
