The 2019 North-West In Bloom Awards were held in Southport where Congleton Town did themselves proud, scooping five prestigious awards including an ‘Outstanding Achievement Award’ won by our own Cllr David Brown.
The Awards are based on Community Participation, Horticultural Excellence and Environmental Responsibility.
Alongside Cllr Brown’s achievements, Congleton Park won THREE awards and Congleton Town won the Gold Medal along with a place in the National ‘Britain in Bloom’ Competition in the Large Town Category!
We’ll be cheering Congleton on in the finals!
