Exploring the role of Overview & Scrutiny
Earlier today, Cllr Margaret Simon (Wistaston Ward) spent some time, in Westfields, with student John Moignan discussing Cheshire East’s Scrutiny function. John is currently studying History and Politics at University. Cllr Simon explained “As well as the role of Scrutiny, we also digressed into a lively conversation about the idiosyncrasies & vagaries of local Politics. It was a pleasure to meet John and I wish him all the best for the future!”. (Cllr Simon is Chair of Corporate Scrutiny at CEC).
