The Stanley Centre in Knutsford celebrates 30 years of Care & Service
The Stanley Centre has been providing care and support for adults with additional needs for three decades and service users and staff (past and present), came together on Thursday to celebrate this very special birthday.
The Centre is run by Care4CE (Cheshire East Council's Care Provider). Staff and service users had decorated the centre and local organisations and businesses supported the celebrations providing lovely food, tours of the centre and even the 'African Drum Band' - made up of CEC staff who had taken the day off as Annual Leave to provide a very popular musical input.
The event was also attended by the CE Mayor (Cllr Lesley Smetham), the Mayor of Knutsford (Cllr Peter Coan), Knutsford Ward Councillors Stewart Gardiner and Tony Dean and Cllr Janet Clowes (Cabinet Member: Adult Social Care).
