Celebrating #NHS70 in Nantwich
On the 5th of July 1948, the NHS was first launched at Park Hospital in Manchester (now Trafford General Hospital). For 70 years it has led the world in exceptional service and dedication to the millions of people that live in Cheshire and the UK.
From all of us at Crewe & Nantwich Conservatives, we wish a very happy birthday to the NHS and we hope it continues to prosper and do us proud. With the extra £394 million a week by 2023/2024 set out in our long-term plan, we have every confidence that the continued amazing work done by all NHS staff will ensure it is still doing great work in another 70 years.
