Every Spring the Odd Road Ward experiences the bizarre phenomenon of toad migrations crossing the country lanes between ponds and water bodies. Toads contribute significantly to the local ecology and so are well worth protecting. Councillors Bailey and Wardlaw have worked with local residents and highways to get appropriate road signage and completing regular litter picks along the lanes.
