Launch of the Cheshire East Council ‘Brighter Future Together’ Initiative
This week Cheshire East Council is celebrating the launch of our new workplace culture vision, behaviours and workplace deal at full council. This is a major milestone in the Brighter Future Together (Culture) programme to ensure that employees and members feel safe and supported in the workplace and that the culture and work environment of Cheshire East ensures that it remains a great place to work.
There is now a robust support network of employee and member champions who have undertaken training to help support staff and members going forward, together with a range of programmes and initiatives (including employee and member induction and on-going training opportunities) This is the start of the programme that has been supported by the Local Government Association (LGA).
