Tonight, in an Open Primary selection procedure, Dr Kieran Mullan was selected as PPC for Crewe & Nantwich
Local Conservative Members and non-member residents on the C&N Constituency electoral register gathered at Hough Village Hall to select the next Conservative prospective parliamentary candidate for this important seat.
The Process was overseen by the Northern Area officers and the questions were posed to candidates by Fiona Bruce MP (Congleton). Each candidate had to give a 3-minute presentation and then answer 6 ‘set questions’. Following this, candidates were required to answer a number of testing questions from the floor covering BREXIT, Foreign Aid, the NHS and how best to fund social care, how to support small businesses, the regeneration of Crewe and how to optimise the arrival of HS2.
Kieran proved to be the successful candidate who brings with him a wealth of experience in the public sector as an A&E doctor, a volunteer Special Constable for the Police, experienced school governor and political campaigner.
