Meeting the Cheshire East Council Leader & Wistaston Ward Councillors
Councillors Margaret Simon and Jacquie Weatherill expressed a big ‘Thank you’ to all those Wistaston Ward residents who took the time to visit their surgery, in the Memorial Hall, on Tuesday evening. Cllr Rachel Bailey, the Leader of Cheshire East Council, was delighted that so many of residents dropped in to meet her and to talk to Margaret and Jacquie. There was an unexpected visit from Kieran Mullan, the newly selected Conservative Parliamentary candidate for Crewe & Nantwich and Jacquie admitted “we were all tickled pink when Reverend Sambrook called in at the end of the evening just to say ‘Hello.’ It was great to meet everyone and issues raised by residents will be addressed as soon as possible.
