Cllr George Hayes ‘suits up’ for a day as a Firefighter
In order to better understand what being a firefighter in the Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service is really like, Cllr George Hayes joined the team for the day to find out! The experience included having to don the protective gear and understand its function! Afterwards George stated “Today it was my pleasure to experience something of the day in the life of a Firefighter, through my ongoing role with the Cheshire Fire Authority.
I remain ever-grateful for the continued dedication and selflessness of colleagues in the Fire and Rescue Service and all our emergency services.”
