Dr Kieran Mullan (PPC Crewe & Nantwich) and Cllr Steve Edgar joined the local Scout Troup at Weston to celebrate Chinese New Year!
Kieran explained; “It was a great fun evening with 14th South West Cheshire Scout Group judging their Chinese cooking competition. Thanks to www.chopstixnantwich.co.uk for judging and donating a prize!”
The Scouts prepared the food from scratch and Kieran, together with Mr Cutts (Headteacher at Weston Village Primary School) and Steve Edgar (from Weston Parish Council) were the three judges invited to judge their efforts!
Kieran was clear, “If you want to help young people get less screen time and more time doing great stuff like this in the real world, volunteer for organisations like the Scouts!”
