Children and Young People ‘find their voice’
Today Cheshire East hosted an all day event in Middlewich for children and young people from across the Borough and their parents or carers. The key theme of the day was for children of all ages to ‘find their voice’ through sharing their ideas and thoughts about what would make their lives that bit better, the services they currently receive from Cheshire East, and how they might be improved. The feedback received from all those attending will be used to inform and develop the Council’s Children and Young People’s Plan due to be launched later this year.
The process was helped along through a range of table-top activities and play opportunities; including the mobile Children’s Centre (featured here with Cllr Jos Saunders and Cllr Rhoda Bailey).
